Our premium Arabica coffee beans are sourced and selected from premier coffee growing regions around the world, such as Central America, South America, Africa, Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Southeast Asia. These regions have an optimal growing environment as their respective climates, sunshine and rain levels, rich, porous soils, and overall growing conditions are ideal to producing the best Arabica coffee beans.
Our coffee beans are grown at higher altitudes (typically between 4,000 – 6,000 ft.) at steady temperatures around 70 degrees Fahrenheit, which creates a slower growing process and extended maturity time. This allows them to develop more fully and produce a richer, denser bean, resulting in a more concentrated flavor profile that is more aromatic and less bitter. Our coffee beans are then tested and graded by size and density.
Each varietal of coffee beans selected to craft our flavors and blends is "cupped" twice – an artisanal process used when selecting the coffee beans and again before it’s roasted to observe the taste and aroma and ensure that only the highest quality beans are selected.
Our Primary Coffee Growing Regions
Our distinctive flavors and premium blends are specially formulated from an artisanal selection and sophisticated roasting process. We use only 100% Arabica coffee beans and combine certain varietals in varying amounts from premier coffee growing estates and regions around the world. Our blends are based on the beans' individual flavor profiles, as each region has certain characteristics based their respective climates and growing conditions.
Our blends are then small-batch roasted according to very particular specifications to bring out their unique flavor profiles, with tremendous care and meticulous attention to detail every step of the way using modern, state-of-the art roasting and grinding equipment to ensure quality and consistency.
Some ask why we choose a blend of coffee beans rather than a single origin coffee bean, and our answer is simple - single origin coffee beans do not have the flavor complexity necessary to craft our unique flavors and blends.
